This PPE monitor tool automatically monitors the use of PPE by ship and port crew

Introduction
Project CSSS (crew safety surveillance system) is a project focused on using computer vision to better auto-monitor and thus improve the safety of crew onboard ships.
The safety aspect being covered are PPE (personal protective equipment) which are helmets, boilersuits and the likes.
This project in its beta version focuses on helmets, boilersuits, hand gloves and safety boots. As we go further, the system gets better and deeper.
This is an active project so progress will be made very frequently (in shaa Allah).
Technical Details (Beta)
The model is built on Yolo v8 from ultralytics (dataset will soon be made available on kaggle).
The model, when tested recorded a 67% precision and 61% recall.
Due to the limitations of the web platform the model is being served on and not the model itself, only images are acceptable for PPE checks for now.
Upload an image, click to run PPE checks and watch the magic happen.
